About this game

Graveyard Shift is a first-person survival horror game set in a lonely mountain gas station between 3:00 and 6:00 a.m. Something tall and thin lives in the woods across the road, and every night it walks out of the trees to test the doors.

How to play: stay behind the counter and watch the four security cameras to see where it is coming from. When it reaches the front door, the back door or the side window, get there fast and hold your flashlight on it until it backs away into the trees. The flashlight drains quickly and only charges in its dock while you watch the cameras, so every trip away from the desk is a gamble. Survive until 6:00 a.m. to finish the night.

Five nights, each worse than the last: it learns, it moves faster, the side window stops locking, the power starts cutting out and takes the cameras and charger with it, and on the last night it is not alone. Your progress is saved between nights.

Keyboard and mouse: W A S D to move, mouse to look (click to lock the mouse), F, Space or click for the flashlight, E at the desk to open the cameras, A and D, the arrow keys or 1 to 4 to switch cameras, Esc to pause. Gamepad also works.

Touch: left stick to move, drag on the right half of the screen to look, LIGHT button for the flashlight, CAMS button at the desk, tap a camera to switch, II to pause.

Tense and creepy rather than gory. Headphones recommended.
