About this game
Coil Keep is a roguelite castle-builder where your wall is a living stone serpent. Steer it around your keep, close the loop and it sets into solid wall, turning everything inside into castle ground. Then the siege comes, and the bigger your castle, the bigger the army that marches on it.
Each round opens with a 30-second build. You get five serpents: eat stones to grow (gold ones give +3) and touch a wall or the keep to set one in place, but hit a rock, tree, water or the map edge and it crumbles. A 2x2 block of wall raises a cannon tower, big courtyards become barracks and great halls whose archers join the fight, and walling in a forge, well or shrine earns a bonus. Next, hold out for 20 seconds against goblin sappers, catapults, battering rams, warships and dragons while you fire the keep's cannon. Survive, bank your score and pick a boon. The run ends when the keep falls or, from round 3, when you hold no castle ground. Chase the online high-score table.
Keyboard and mouse: arrow keys or WASD (or a mouse drag) steer the serpent; in the siege, click to fire, or move the crosshair with the arrows and fire with Space or Enter. Esc or P pauses. Touch: swipe or use the on-screen D-pad to steer, tap anywhere to fire. Gamepad: D-pad or left stick to steer and aim, A or RB to fire, Start to pause.
