About this game

Bench Brawl is a horde-survival brawler on a football field: sports legends against a mascot horde that grows every minute. Your gear fires on its own, so you focus on moving, dodging and scooping up tokens. A friend can jump in on a gamepad for local co-op.

Choose Rocket Rawlins (fastballs), Big Jo Dunkley (ricocheting hoop shots), Vee Volley (tennis serves) or Tank Tuli (an air horn blast), then hold out for 10 minutes. Fuzzballs, bears, hawks and bulls swarm in, and a Mega Mascot boss arrives every minute. Tokens from KOs level you up: pick one of three upgrades, such as orbiting bats, a bowling ball, cleats, shoulder pads or a magnet glove. Rare drops heal you or pull in every token. Score counts KOs, bosses, time and level, plus a bonus for lasting all 10 minutes, and goes on the online leaderboard. In co-op, a downed player is benched for 15 seconds, then returns if a teammate is still standing.

Keyboard: WASD or arrows to move, Esc or P to pause; left and right choose a legend or upgrade, Space or Enter confirms. Touch: tap a legend, then PLAY; drag on the left half for a floating joystick, tap a card to pick an upgrade, II button to pause. Gamepad: left stick or d-pad to move and choose, A to confirm, Start to pause. Player 2: press A or Start on a second gamepad during a run to join.
